Journalism jobs at The 19th, Salon, Morning Brew, EdSource and more
An internships, fellowships and conferences calendar
Happy Monday! Skim for your weekly roundup of jobs, industry readings, resources and more.
🧠 ‘Always learning with Charo Henríquez’: Charo Henríquez, ONA Board President and head of Newsroom Development and Support at The New York Times, answered questions in an ONA newsletter about building an inclusive culture in newsrooms and how to best assess an organization’s culture before joining a new team.
“Interviewing for jobs should be a two-way street,” Henríquez said. “Always take the opportunity to ask questions about the culture of a place during them. Reach out to your network to do that diligence, and if you don’t have a robust network, join ONA!”
💻 ‘This year is going to be a huge shift’: Sara Guaglione wrote for Digiday about the platforms and strategies publishers are turning to outside of looking for referral traffic from Facebook and X.
📆 Internships, fellowships and conferences calendar: Just a reminder that I’ve updated this calendar with multiple new roles. Please feel free to share with anyone who could use it!
Thanks for reading!
