👀 ‘10 women to watch’: Editor & Publisher shared Q&As with amazing women “breaking barriers and leading the charge in local and national news,” including Danielle Belton, editor-in-chief of HuffPost; Monica R. Richardson, executive editor of the Miami Herald/el Nuevo Herald and McClatchy Florida regional editor; Amanda Zamora, co-founder and publisher of The 19th; and others.

“Try everything and don’t be afraid to fail at anything. Failure is a huge part of success,” Belton said. “I’ve been laid off. I’ve been forced out. I’ve been passed over. And in the end, all of it made me better, stronger and more capable as a journalist. Failures are lessons.”
