Happy (almost) New Year!
To count down to 2024, I did a content analysis of the top readings and resources subscribers engaged with throughout 2023. Here’s the first five of 10 top items read by you and curated by me:

💡 ‘Another job-hunting pro-tip’: Rhema Thompson Bland, Deputy Director of News Talent Acquisition & Development for McClatchy, shared a few thoughtful pieces of advice on LinkedIn a couple months ago about networking in journalism.
“There’s an old adage in fundraising spheres: ‘If you want money, ask for advice,’” she wrote. “The same rule applies in the job-hunting.”

👀 ‘Making time to job hunt while working full time’: Elizabeth Grace Saunders, a time management coach, wrote for the Harvard Business Review in April about how to navigate the exploration, preparation, application and interview phases of the job hunt process.
