‘Hands-on mapmaking for journalism’: The Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas is hosting a course for $95 where students will “learn how to create interactive, customizable maps using free, open-source tools,” according to the Knight Center.
The course — led by John Keefe of The New York Times — starts June 2 and runs through June 29.
‘WTF are GEO and AEO? (and how they differ from SEO)’: Jessica Davies wrote an explainer for Digiday about the ways publishers’ content can appear in AI answer engines and what organizations might want to consider about serving readers on these platforms.
