🗳 ‘Fine tune your midterm election coverage plans’: The Associated Press and the American Press Institute are hosting a free webinar on Thursday at 3 p.m. ET where registrants will “hear from journalists at The Associated Press – including its new democracy team – about its plans for Election Day.”

📧 ‘Everything to know about pitching stories’: Tim Herrera announced in his Freelancing with Tim newsletter that he’s hosting several virtual panels in the coming weeks that range from $10 to $30.

One session — this Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET — will help attendees when it comes to “strengthening your pitches, finding the right places to pitch your stories, how to follow up with editors and much more.”
