Advice for effectively using open to work on LinkedIn: Career coach Emily Worden wrote on LinkedIn with tips for how to make open to work posts more detailed with notes on location, skills, the types of roles you’re interested in and more.
‘Mining court dockets to investigate big business’: The Society for Advancing Business Editing and Writing (SABEW) scheduled a webinar for February 19 featuring Dan Levine of Reuters.
The session will “discuss how to approach a court docket from an investigative perspective: what kinds of motions generally yield the best documents, the ins and outs of discovery and protective orders, how to read the posture of a civil case and use it to get sources talking and more,” according to SABEW’s event page.
‘Now that we can transcribe work meetings and conversations, should we?’ Alexandra Samuel wrote for The Wall Street Journal about how “it’s great to have a full record of what was said in meetings and conversations. But there may be a hidden cost.”
