Here are several news outlets hiring for multiple roles right now

The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Virginian-Pilot and Connecticut Public all posted roles

In addition to the steady stream of hiring at some big organizations, several large and small news outlets shared multiple job openings in recent weeks.

Here’s a rundown of some hiring moves with links back to outlets’ career pages.

The Philadelphia Inquirer

Matt Romond, Manager of People & Culture at The Philadelphia Inquirer, shared on LinkedIn early this month, “We are launching two significant and ambitious projects this year: a Weekend Initiative and Inquirer Local. Both are intended to grow our topline audiences, drive our digital subscriber portfolio and retain readers who pay good money for the news and information we provide.”

Since the beginning of the year, the news organization has posted several roles, including Suburban Newsletter Editor, Inquirer Local; Suburban GA Reporter, Inquirer Local; Reporter, Inquirer Weekend; Senior Editor, Inquirer Weekend; Coverage Editor, Inquirer Weekend; Deputy Editor, Now; and Health Reporter.
