Here's to seven years of this newsletter!

Hi everyone!

I’m here in your inbox with a short update and some personal news.

But first: I’m so excited to share that 2025 marks seven years of publication of this newsletter! It started out with a small community and now has grown to more than 16,000 readers, for which I’m incredibly grateful.

Some of you may have seen in a recent edition that we’re having a new (human) addition to our family! To take care of my growing family and myself, I’m planning to take maternity leave from publishing this newsletter for a few months.

Paying subscribers will still get two editions of the newsletter each month and access to years of archives. If that’s something you’d like to sign up for, your support is very appreciated!

If you’re currently getting the free edition, I’m looking forward to starting up production again with our new intern about three months after they get here.

This is only the second time I’ve stepped back from this awesome passion project (the first was for the birth of our first child). I’m excited and nervous, but I know this family time will help me keep this community going in the long run.
