Here are several news outlets hiring for multiple roles right now

The Waco Bridge, The Minnesota Star Tribune and Advance Ohio Media all posted roles

In addition to the steady stream of hiring at some big organizations, several large and small news outlets shared multiple job openings in recent weeks.

Here’s a rundown of some hiring moves with links back to outlets’ career pages.

The Waco Bridge

Supported by The Texas Tribune, The Waco Bridge — a new “editorially independent, nonprofit newsroom dedicated to empowering Wacoans with high-quality local news and information” — is hiring an Editor-in-Chief, General Manager and Community Engagement and Events Manager, according to its website.

On September 5, The Texas Tribune’s CEO Sonal Shah announced the organization would be building “a network of local newsrooms that will inform, empower and engage Texans at the community level.”

“The Texas Tribune will create, partner or merge with local, community-based newrooms that inform residents more deeply about their communities,” Shah wrote. “We’ll start this effort in Waco by creating a new local newsroom, which we anticipate will launch in early 2025, followed by an Austin newsroom.”
